COLLECTION AND PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING
This data collection takes place when the User:
- create an account
- subscribe to the KnifeMarkt Newsletter
- places an order or a return request on the site
- puts products in his shopping cart, through functional cookies (See paragraph ´ Cookies'), to allow him to finalize his purchase later
- contact KnifeMarkt Customer Service by any means of communication available to them, such as email, etc.

ACCOUNT CREATION, FORMS AND QUESTIONNAIRES
The User must fill in all the fields of the account creation form or any form for entering information on the Site with the exception of the fields displayed as optional, that is to say not marked with an asterisk. The optional information is collected by KnifeMarkt and allows to better know the Users of the Site.
All information marked with an asterisk is mandatory. The User must respond to it.
Any failure to reply will result in the non-creation of an account or the non-validation of the information entry form. KnifeMarkt will not respond to requests from the User.
DESTINATION OF DATAThe data collected is intended for the use of KnifeMarkt. The data can be transmitted to banking establishments including Paypal, police services within the framework of legal and accounting requisitions.
The data may also be processed by subcontractors to which KnifeMarkt uses in the context of the personalization of the contents of the Site, the dispatch of orders, the collection of debts, the prevention and the fight against fraud.
RIGHT OF ACCESS, CORRECTION AND DELETION
The User is informed that this automated processing of personal data has been declared to the CNIL. DATA RETENTION PERIOD
KnifeMarkt stores data for a period of five years from the end of relations with the customer or the prospect. The period begins from either the last order, or the last connection to the customer account, or the last call to customer service, or the sending of an email to customer service, or a click on a hyperlink an email sent by KnifeMart, or putting products in the basket without making the purchase, at the end of the five-year period. At the end of this period, the customer or prospect data will be anonymized.
However, the information allowing to establish the proof of a right or a contract, or kept for the respect of a legal obligation can be archived in accordance with the legal provisions in force.
EXIT OF PERSONAL DATA AFTER DEATH
KnifeMarkt informs the User that he can define, during his lifetime, directives relating to the conservation, erasure and communication of his personal data after his death. These guidelines can be general or specific. The User can modify or revoke his directives at any time. The Identified User can subscribe to the product alerts offered by KnifeMarkt. He can at any time unsubscribe from the alerts to which he has subscribed in the "My Account" section.

KnifeMarkt uses web beacons on certain pages of the Site which count the number of visitors to the page. The information collected via these web beacons is anonymous and allows to know the frequentation of certain pages of the Site, and this in order to better assist the Users of the Site.
PLUGINS SOCIAL NETWORKS
The Site uses social media plugins such as Facebook, Instagram (Hereafter ´ Social Networks').
